Thank You to All Our Volunteers in English in Action!

National News – April 19th - 25th 2020

April 19-25 is Volunteer Recognition Week! We salute all of our volunteer tutors, unit directors and partner organizations and thank you for your dedication to the English in Action program. Your compassion is at the heart of every session. You create a welcoming environment for our students to improve and build their confidence in the English language.

Thank you for continuing to support English in Action during the current health crisis. As the program adapts to a life of remote conversations, it is our tutors who inspire us by taking the initiative to continue conversations online or over the phone. Our unit directors continue to show leadership as they work behind the scenes to pair students with tutors. Whether you are talking with your students, joining Zoom group discussions or eagerly awaiting the return of face-to-face conversations, we thank you for being a part of English in Action.
