DENVER BRANCH ANNUAL MEETING

The flowers at the Valley Country Club were in full bloom and provided a vibrant welcome to guests as they arrived for the Denver Branch Annual Meeting on Sunday, July 10.  Members enjoyed beverages and mingled, stopping briefly as president Bruce Haefner offered an official welcome and invocation.  The generous brunch buffet included an assortment of pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, breakfast meats, juice and coffee. 

At the conclusion of brunch, the official meeting began.  Reports were given by President, Bruce Haefner and Treasurer, Chuck Thompson.  Committee chairs, Cindy Poinsett and Aimee Arens detailed the Shakespeare and Writing Competitions and a BUSS report from Michael Thornton was delivered by Bruce.   Bonnie Pritchett, Chairperson of the Nominating Committee presented the slate of Board Members and Officers.  The nominees were elected unanimously, including first time Board Members Joseph DeStefano, Todd Madison and Kate Murphy. 

A special thank you goes to Joyce and Jim Wilson as members of the Valley Country Club for use of the beautiful venue.
