Description

The ESU Education Coordinator must be an industrious individual, committed to education and international scholarship, providing primary support for the following ESU Education Programs:

  • National Shakespeare Competition
  • National Shakespeare Writing Program
  • Educators & Lifelong Learners Study Abroad in the UK
  • Luard Morse Scholarship - Junior Semester Abroad in the UK
  • Secondary School Exchange - Gap Year Scholarship Abroad in the UK
  • International Public Speaking Competition in the UK
  • Middle School & High School Debate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Directors in all aspects of implementation for ESU Programs listed above.
  • Respond to inquiries from teachers and volunteers.
  • Coordinate logistics for National Shakespeare Competition.
  • Oversee program registrations and applications, working with partner organizations to coordinate registration and payments.
  • Coordinate middle school & high school debate program.
  • Update, print and distribute Education Department materials.
  • Maintain database for education programs. Produce reports, as directed.
  • Maintain and update Education Program pages on the website, and be responsible for related digital and social media.
  • Provide administrative assistance to other educational programs as needed, including organizing events, coordinating volunteers, and entering data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, education, international studies, liberal arts or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people of different ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience with social media, including Constant Contact
Salary & BENEFITS
  • Salary 50K to 55K Annually
  • Full Benefits Package 
Work Schedule & environment

The ESU operates during standard business hours Monday through Friday.  Currently ESU employees will be offered an option to work remotely three days a week once a pre-determined training period is completed.  Proof of COVID 19 vaccinations is required to be presented by employees on their first day of work
