28th Annual British Faire

Event Recap

The Kansas City Branch participated in the 28th Annual British Faire held in Lenexa, Kansas, on Saturday, November 16, 2013.  It was again sponsored by the Daughters of the British Empire in Kansas.  This annual fundraising event benefits retirement communities and local charities.  Some of the events and activities at the British Faire:

  • Traditional British Afternoon Tea
  • Celtic jewelry
  • The best local British vendors
  • Antiques
  • Crafts
  • Books
  • Specialty foods and cheeses
  • Christmas crackers
  • Teas
  • Children's activity room

This is always a fun event for the whole family with activities and events for all ages.  Board member, Julie Robinson, represented the ESU Kansas City Branch at our Informational Booth at the Faire which attracted attention to the ESU and had several guests sign up for ESU membership information.
