Great Tea & Delectable Treats with Entertainment by The Barn Players

The English-Speaking Union
Cordially Invites you and your Guests
to an Afternoon of
Taking Tea with Shakespeare and Friends

There is nothing so quintessentially British as taking afternoon tea
while enjoying the literature of Shakespeare.
Tea and a vast array of delectable tea sandwiches, scones and sweets will be served by the Magna Carta & Royal Arms Chapters of the Daughters of the British Empire.
During the tea, the Barn Players will present a musical performance of Shakespeare's sonnets.

Location:
Leawood City Hall Community Center
4800 Town Center Drive
Leawood, Kansas

Doors will open at 1:30 pm and guests will be greeted with live music and displays by the sponsoring groups. A silent auction, raffles and door prizes will add to the ambiance of the afternoon. Some attendees wear hats but there is no required dress code.

This is a popular ESU event which sells out each year.  We will have two tables of six for ESU members and guests. A portion of ticket sales supports ESU programs.  Don't miss out on this fun afternoon, please mail your check today!
