Let's Celebrate Our New Membership Year

ESU's new membership year begins July 1, 2023 and what better way to bring in the new membership year than with a party! 

All ESU members and Friends of ESU are cordially invited to a Membership Renewal Party hosted by our ESU members, Sally and Greg Davis. This is a potluck party. Our board members will provide Barbeque Brisket, iced tea, and soft drinks. Everyone is invited to bring a side dish such as baked beans, potato salad, tossed salad, or dessert. BYOB for wine, beer.  

We want to bring all ESU members together for a casual afternoon party to make it easy and convenient to renew your membership as well as renew friendships. You can renew online at the party on our secure laptop or with a paper form.  Either way it is easy and fast.  You'll also have the chance to meet both longstanding ESU members as well as our newest recruits.

Door Prizes: We'll have drawings for some great door prizes!

When: Sunday, July 9, 2023, 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Where: Sally and Greg Davis' home: 12413 W. 101st St., Lenexa, KS 66215

Parking: Plenty of street parking.

How do I renew or join ESU at the party?  To renew or join with the paper form, simply fill it out at the party and bring a check for the proper amount.  We will take care of sending it off to our national headquarters in New York.  To renew or join online, you may use the computer we will have at the party along with a credit card, e-check, Pay Pal, or favorite mobile payment system.

What if I can't arrive at 2:00 pm? No problem. Come any time between 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Do I have to stay till 4:00 pm? No. If you're only able to stay for a short time, that's fine. But door prizes will be drawn near the end of party for those still in attendance.

Can I bring a friend who may be interested in joining? Of course, we welcome new members, and this ESU Membership Party is the perfect chance for your friend to learn more about the ESU and become a new member at the beginning of the membership year.

Can I bring a friend even if they don't want to join? YES! This is not just a Membership Renewal Party. It's a fun opportunity for members to meet your friends while they learn more about the ESU, even though they may not be able to join right now."

Can I Carpool? Of course! If you need a ride, just give us a call and we'll arrange it.

RSVP: Please let us know if you can attend by July 3 and indicate what side dish or dessert you're bringing . Either reply to this email with a yes, no, or maybe OR call Debbie McArdle at (913) 492-8753.

Note: You may receive a letter from Ben Martin prior to the party inviting you to renew your membership. If you are not able to attend the party, you can fill out the renewal form in Ben's letter or renew online as usual on our website. (www.esuus.org/kansascity) If you are attending the party, we will complete your renewal at the party.
