2019 Kentucky High School Shakespeare Competition Winner Chosen

On Sunday, March 3 The Kentucky Branch hosted the annual 2019 Shakespeare Competition.  Branch members and guests were hosted by Commonwealth Theatre Company and treated to a lively competition made up of student finalists from across the state of Kentucky.   The judges did an outstanding selecting the competition winner, Ms. Zoe Peterson, who will be competing in the national competition representing the Kentucky Branch in New York City.  Congratulations to all of the participants.   Best of luck to Zoe!

Judges three: The esteemed judges for the competition included Bellarmine University professor Dr. John Gatton, celebrated Kentucky Poet Ron Whitehead, and actor Brandon Meeks.   The two judges on the right are both past ESU TLab Scholars sent by the Kentucky Branch to study in England.
