Membership

Welcome to the ESU...

The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a membership organization whose mission is carried out locally by the efforts of Branch members.  As an ESU member, you are contributing both financially and personally to programs that enrich the lives of students and educators through a diverse range of local and national programs.  Additionally, members expand their own social network by being invited to cultural and social events, speakers and book author events, regional and national events as well as invitations to international travel opportunities.

Membership in the Denver Branch of the English Speaking Union is open to anyone interested.

Our membership covers a wide range of ages. Young teachers are joining us to meet colleagues with similar interests. Former members are returning, we work hard to gear our programs to everyone's enjoyment.

Annual Membership Dues Structure:

All renewing members will send dues to the National Office.

Renewing members please print the following form and send it along with your payment to the National ESU Office in New York. The Address is on the form.

First time members will send their dues, payable only by check, to the Denver ESU Office:

The membership year is July 1 through June 30.

As a Denver Branch Member, you will receive the bi-monthly Newsletter PLUS Invitations to:

• The Dr. Howard F. Beckley Writing Competition Awards Ceremony

Members also have access to the National ESU web site to find out about ESU Branches across the US, National Events, Ambassador Book Awards and discounts at Dartmouth House in London.

National Patron Membership provides higher level support to programs that enrich the lives of our members, teachers, and thousands of high school and college students nationwide.  National Patrons receive local and national recognition and invitations to exclusive events.  Up to one half of your contribution can be designated to support your branch.
