Blackfriars "Merchant of Venice" Outing, September 15, 2012Album posted Sep 17, 2012 On a lovely September afternoon, former BUSS recipient and Board Member Linda Freeman arranged for 15 members of the Richmond branch to go to Staunton, Virginia for lunch and a matinee performance of The Merchant of Venice by the American Shakespeare Center. To everyone's delight, member John Harris had the winning raffle ticket for a poster autographed by the company. Always popular with our members, this annual outing to Blackfriars Theater, the only reproduction of Shakespeare's indoor theater in the world, included several new members. |
