On a lovely September afternoon, former BUSS recipient and Board Member Linda Freeman arranged for 15 members of the Richmond branch to go to Staunton, Virginia for lunch and a matinee performance of The Merchant of Venice by the American Shakespeare Center. To everyone's delight, member John Harris had the winning raffle ticket for a poster autographed by the company. (See photo gallery.)
Always popular with our members, this annual outing to Blackfriars Theater, the only reproduction of Shakespeare's indoor theater in the world, included several new members.
