ROBERT QUINNEY is Organist of New College, Oxford, and Director of New College's acclaimed choir. He is also associate professor in the Faculty of Music, University of Oxford. He maintains a parallel career as a solo organist and is a prolific recording artist: his discs of organ music by Bach, Elgar, Dupré, Wagner and Brahms have been widely acclaimed.

St. Louis Shakespeare Competition

The Annual St. Louis Branch ESU Shakespeare Competition gives students in the metro area the opportunity to compete locally, with the winner invited to perform on stage in New York at the national level. This year's branch competition was held on February 9 at Fontbonne University. Each participating student gave an interpretation of both a monologue and a sonnet of choice, to a rapt audience.

Dr. Germaine F. Murray has been teaching English and Humanities courses at Maryville University for 27 years. She has taught courses in American, British and World Literature and in comparative culture. She developed several courses in Museum Studies, film literacy and has pioneered team teaching with colleagues in a variety of other disciplines. She has been the founding faculty member of Maryville's Study Abroad Program and has taught in Greece, the Czech Republic, London, Oxford, Italy, Scotland and Spain. She co-founded the Maryville Peace and Justice Prize and currently directs this effort.

With more than thirty years of living and working overseas, Michael Costello has a unique perspective and understanding of world affairs. He teaches law and international management in the nationally ranked international business program in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He leads students on international study courses to Oxford, United Arab Emirates and Benelux. He has taught in China, Kuwait and Oman. He was the chief legal officer of Agribrands, Inc, an NYSE publicly listed company manufacturing and marketing Purina agri products in sixteen countries on four continents, as well as serving as International Counsel for Monsanto in Canada and Asia Pacific. And he is also a member of our St. Louis Branch. Costello practiced EU law for three years in Brussels, Belgium, and served as an intern with the Commission of the EU. He has a JD from St. Louis University and an LLM in International & Comparative Law from the Vrije Universeit Brussels, Belgium.
