Event Recap

This year's Garden Party on May 25 was to celebrate the special occasion of Queen Elizabeth II's 90^th birthday.  The British Consul General, Jeremy Pilmore-Bedford, kindly allowed us to have our event in his beautiful home.  Our Branch Chairman, Wesley Devoto, OBE, toasted the Queen and the Consul General, in turn, offered a toast to the President of the United States. 

Our incoming President (right), Don Pattillo, welcomed one and all to enjoy the festivities, have a glass of Pimm's Cup punch and partake of the delicious food prepared by  Kenna Scott of Party Execs.                       . 

We had a special treat from Brittany Mills, this year's Atlanta Shakespeare Competition winner, when she gave us a recitation from one of Shakespeare's plays.  It was excellent and we can see why she won!  We wish her every success as she pursues her acting career and begins college in the fall.
