A biology major from St. Louis, Mo., Burton plans to become a transplant surgeon. Among his many achievements, Burton serves as vice president of programming for Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity DC Alpha Chapter and honors council representative of the College of Arts & Sciences Honors Association.  As a Luard Scholar, Burton attended Oxford University, St. Anne's College for the 2012 - 2013 academic year.
