ESU Kansas City’s Holiday Brunch &            Annual Meeting Announced                             Mark Your Calendar!

Our Annual Holiday Brunch is just around the corner. Join ESU members and Friends of ESU for this special occasion on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 12 noon. This year's lecture program features a special guest speaker, Dr. Jonathan Chandler, Fulbright-Robertson Visiting Professor of British History who is teaching British history this school term at Westminster College in Fulton, MO.

Born in Kent, England, Dr. Chandler toyed with becoming, in his words, "a penniless jazz musician" before beginning a close affiliation with University College London (UCL) where he completed his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in history. Dr. Chandler's extensive research and study in colonial and revolutionary North America is certain to bring a fascinating lecture program to our annual ESU Holiday Brunch.

Our program will also include a special video presentation from ESU's National First Place Winner of the 33rd Annual National Shakespeare Competition on May 2, 2016, Ari Dalbert from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Be sure to mark your calendar for this special occasion, held again at The Grand Street Café. This is a festive gathering where we feast on award-winning food and even celebrate with traditional British crackers.
