"MEASURE UP!"

In musical notation, a measure is a way of organizing the written music into small sections which correspond to a specific number of beats in each of these sections or measures. There are 1373 combined measures (total) in the two piano concertos being played at ESU's gala concert: Bach's Piano Concerto No. 5 in F Minor and Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2.

$1373 COURANTE: Donate one dollar per measure (see definition of measure, $1.00 x 1373 measures) which equals $1373.00. Includes two (2) Dress Circle tickets to gala concert, name or logo in gala program, six (6) drink tickets, two memberships to ESU-New Orleans branch for one (1) year.

$500.00 RHAPSODY: Includes two (2) Dress Circle tickets to concert gala, four drink tickets and name or logo in program.

$250.00 FUGUE: Includes one (1) Dress Circle ticket to concert gala, two drink tickets and name or logo in program.

PRELUDE, starting at $13.73: This level is strictly a donation to the ESU to support the organization in its mission to celebrate English as a shared language and to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students and educators. Please donate as many measures as you would like and you are able and would like.

Donate one cent per measure (.01 x 1373 measures) which equals $13.73.
If you can give a little more, please donate two cents per measure (.02 x 1373 measures) which equals $27.46. Or, a little more … donate three cents per measure (.03 x 1373 measures) which equals $41.19, and so on. The ESU greatly appreciates any amount that you are able to give.

Your sponsorship proceeds will be used by ESUUS New Orleans to support ongoing educational and cultural programs at the local and national level. ESUUS New Orleans is a part of ESUUS, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
