ARNIC concludes the third cycle of its professional mentoring project

On February 7, the ESU Andrew Romay New Immigrant Center (ARNIC) concluded its third cycle of professional mentoring with a graduation ceremony at World Education Services (WES). This special project matches ARNIC members with professional mentors, all of whom are staff at WES. In addition to being an ARNIC community partner, WES is the leading provider of foreign credential evaluation in the U.S.

Over the course of several months, mentors guided their ARNIC mentees as they took concrete steps towards achieving their professional goals in the U.S. Pairs focused on a range of activities, including creating effective LinkedIn profiles, visiting networking events and practicing interviewing skills. One mentee was even able to secure full-time employment at WES!

Held at the WES central office in Manhattan, the ceremony was a chance for mentors and mentees to reflect on their challenges and accomplishments as well as look to the future. The English-Speaking Union is  very proud of our mentees and wish them the best in their future endeavors!
