English in Action Conversations may be the beginning to a lifelong interest in a particular area of the world, or even a deeper understanding of your own culture.

How do I become a tutor?

To become a volunteer tutor, you must attend an orientation session. To sign up for an orientation, click the button below.

How long are the conversation sessions?

Conversation sessions meet for two hours per week.

When and where do the conversation sessions meet?

Conversation sessions are offered Monday through Saturday in the mornings, afternoons and evenings and meet at locations throughout Manhattan. Read the full schedule here.
