We invite NYC area high school teachers to join us for a free interactive workshop on Shakespeare's sonnets and beyond (January 14th from 4:00-6:00 pm at The Morgan Library & Museum). Space is limited. Register by January 12th. This program is offered in partnership with The Morgan Library & Museum and Teachers & Writers Collaborative (Poetry Out Loud).

SCHOLARSHIP FOR
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS
SUMMER STUDY 2015 in the United Kingdom
The ESU New York will award one scholarship to an instructor of English, humanities, drama, or history to engage in three weeks of formal study in the British Universities Summer Schools Program at the Universities of Oxford and Edinburgh and Shakespeare's Globe in London. The scholarship will cover airfare from New York City, tuition, and most meals.
The ESU BUSS Scholarship is made possible through the generous contributions of its members.

Schools: Sign-Up for the 2015 Shakespeare Competition By Dec. 15

We invited schools serving Grades 9-12 in the New York City area (including Westchester and Long Island) to participate in the 2015 Shakespeare Competition. In this free program, high school students nationwide read, analyze, perform and recite Shakespearean monologues and sonnets in as many as three qualifying stages: school, community (ESU Branch) and national levels. To sign-up your school, please complete the 2015 School Participation Form by December 15th.
