Shakespeare Competition Finalists

The semi-finals of the 2016 ESU New York Branch Shakespeare Competition were held this week at the New York Public Library in Bryant Park. Congratulations to all the students, teachers and schools who participated in the program this year.

The judges selected twelve high school students to advance to the finals.  This year's finalists are:

  • Fiona Calberson (Townsend Harris High School at CUNY / Queens College)
  • Chassidy David (Talent Unlimited High School)
  • Abel Garcia (Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts)
  • Na'Shay Kelly (Bronx High School for Writing and Communication Arts)
  • Alessandro Lopez (Williamsburg Preparatory High School)
  • John Nunez (Hillcrest High School)
  • Davion Osbourne (Chelsea Career & Technical Education High School)
  • Olivia Reis (Elisabeth Irwin High School / LREI)
  • Jelani Richards-Cantave (Cardinal Spellman High School)
  • Esther Ritchin (White Plains High School)
  • Diana Vasilevski (Brooklyn Technical High School)
  • Dylan Weber (Long Island School for the Gifted)

All are welcome to join us at the finals (Thursday, March 10th at The Morgan Library & Museum).  Please print this flyer and bring it with you to the event.
