RECAP OF THE ESU SUMMER PARTY

Sixty-five ESU members and guests mingled, ate and drank happily at the Sahalee Country Club last month. The day was a warm one, just right for a summer get-together. Many thanks to co-chairs Ingeborg Dunlap and Pat Wilson as well as Eli Kirkpatrick and Susan Wilson. Special thanks to Larry Woodin who stepped in at the last moment help judge the Annual Hat Contest along with Bob Dunlap and Pat Wilson.
We were especially pleased to see so many guests. Valerie and Anthony Armitage pulled off the surprise of the day by bringing our longtime member, Ed Hyde, to the party. They arranged for Ed to take the train from Vancouver to Seattle and didn't tell us he was coming using a "code" name so it would be a welcome surprise for all of us. It was wonderful to see Ed who is missed by so many of his friends in Seattle.
