The Last Word.

May 2018 bring joy and good fellowship to all of you.

A special thank you to those who donated to our programs recently: Clarke O'Reilly; Tom and Kristen Ferguson, and of course, the "Lavender Hill Mob" members.

The following made donations to the Scholarship Fund: Ed and Sarah Atwood, Sandra E. Boyd, Christine Harrington, Lisa Machogan, James Kemp—Slaughter, Ethel Kemp-Slaughter, Michael Vaughn, Don and Elizabeth McKenzie, Bill Maschmeier and Patricia Haggerty, Ingeborg and Bob Dunlap, and Ingrid Philbrick.

All attended the 25th "Lavender Hill Mob" Holiday luncheon celebration at the Womens University Club sponsored by Ethel Kemp—Slaughter.

Our Seattle English Speaking Union branch has much to offer. Why not make this the year you bring a friend or two to one of our events. We welcome new members to help with our receptions and join our committees. You might start by inviting a potential new member to a one-time reception for FREE! Then introduce your friend to one of our committee Chairpersons or one of our officers. Don't forget Alison Ellison who is surely one of the most active and friendly folks around.

We offer a reception or an event every month. Start looking at the groups you belong to and I suspect you'll find a. friend who would enjoy being part of the Seattle ESU activities.
Happy New Year!
-Pat Wilson
