Darrell W. Hill was an economics major in the Honors Program at Howard University when he used his Luard Scholarship to study at The London School of Economics and Political Science, London, England. During his year abroad he lived at the International Students House, worked as a bartender, and traveled throughout Western Europe and Morocco. Upon return to Howard, he served as editorial editor for The Hilltop, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated magna cum laude in 1992. In 2001, Darrell received his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Darrell is currently the investment banking marketing director at William Blair & Company, a position he has held since 2004. Before joining William Blair, he worked a consultant with Prophet Brand Strategy, a brand strategy consulting firm. In addition, Darrell has worked for The Northern Trust Company in Chicago and for Credit Suisse First Boston in New York City.
Darrell serves his community as a board member of Advocate Healthcare, The English-Speaking Union of the United States, and Chicago Jesuit Academy.
Darrell and his wife currently live in Chicago with their three children.
